The Hollywood Green Team (HGT) is a non-profit organization working with the entertainment industry to make their events more environmentally friendly…by recycling and reducing the waste created at these events and through consultation with event organizers and sponsors. Formed in 1999, the HGT has helped to green some very high profile entertainment events, including the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance, Slamdance, AFI Fest, Malibu Celebration of Film and AVP.

The HGT can assist your organization. Through our series of local, national and international environmental resources and with almost 10 years experience, the HGT can give you expert how-to advice, environmental leadership and hands-on implementation on recycling and reducing your event's environmental impact. The HGT can be present and on-the-ground to assist and coordinate the hour-to-hour recycling. We are a hands-on organization that is not afraid to roll up our sleeves and literally "pitch-in".
